Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Effetive Sistemas ("Arcanjo", "we", "our", or "us"), the company behind Arcanjo, a Brazilian company. By accessing or using Arcanjo ("the Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Software. These Terms apply to all users, including users of the free Community tier and paid subscription tiers.

Arcanjo is a desktop application that provides a multi-agent orchestration dashboard for Claude Code. It enables developers to run multiple Claude CLI agents in parallel across projects, with dedicated terminal panes, custom skill files, squad configuration, MCP marketplace access, session analytics, and integrated development tooling.

Arcanjo connects to Anthropic's Claude CLI using credentials and API keys provided by you. Arcanjo is not affiliated with Anthropic. Your use of Claude through Arcanjo is also subject to Anthropic's Terms of Service and Usage Policies, which are separate from these Terms.

The Community tier does not require account registration. Paid tiers require you to create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account at contact@arcanjocode.com.br
• Ensuring the information you provide is accurate and up to date

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and purchase a subscription. If you are using Arcanjo on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

Paid subscriptions (Squads and Full tiers) are billed on a recurring monthly basis via Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method automatically at each billing cycle.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. You may cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then. We do not offer prorated refunds for partial months, except as required by applicable law.

We reserve the right to update pricing with 30 days' advance notice. If you do not accept the new pricing, you may cancel before the change takes effect. Volume discounts are applied automatically at checkout: 10% off for 5+ licenses, 20% off for 10+ licenses.

Each paid license key is bound to one machine. A license key activates the Software on the machine where it is first entered. You may unbind a license from a machine at any time through the Arcanjo account dashboard, after which the license can be activated on a different machine.

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Arcanjo grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Software for your personal or internal business purposes. This license does not include the right to:

• Sublicense, resell, or redistribute the Software
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software
• Use the Software to develop competing products
• Remove any proprietary notices or labels from the Software
• Share a single license key across multiple machines simultaneously

The Software stores API keys and authentication credentials locally on your device. You are solely responsible for the security of your API keys. Arcanjo does not transmit or have access to API keys stored locally on your device. You acknowledge that using an API key through Arcanjo incurs charges from the respective API provider (e.g., Anthropic) according to that provider's pricing.

You agree not to use the Software to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others
• Transmit malicious code, viruses, or harmful data
• Engage in any activity that disrupts or interferes with our services
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems or networks
• Circumvent any technical limitations or license enforcement mechanisms
• Violate Anthropic's or any other third party's terms of service

The Software, including all content, features, functionality, branding, and underlying code, is owned by Effetive Sistemas and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws of Brazil and internationally. Your use of the Software does not grant you any ownership rights. All rights not expressly granted herein are reserved.

You retain full ownership of all code, projects, and content you create using Arcanjo. We do not claim any rights over your work product.

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. ARCANJO DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SOFTWARE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, FREE OF VULNERABILITIES, OR THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, EFFETIVE SISTEMAS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SOFTWARE, EVEN IF ARCANJO HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SOFTWARE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Software at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Software will immediately cease and any active license keys associated with your account will be deactivated.

You may terminate your account at any time by cancelling your subscription and ceasing use of the Software. Sections 6, 8, 9, 10, 12, and 14 of these Terms survive termination.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. For material changes, we will provide at least 14 days' notice by updating the "Effective date" at the top of this page and, where appropriate, by sending an email to registered account holders. Your continued use of the Software after the effective date of changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil, without regard to conflict of law principles. Arcanjo is operated by Effetive Sistemas, a company incorporated under Brazilian law. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Brazil.
